As a working mom, coffee is a life necessity. I am a black coffee drinker, so I really love trying new coffees to mix up the flavor a little bit. I recently had the pleasure of teaming up with Rebel Pine to try out their variety pack, and I am happy to tell you all about this great coffee from a great company. Plus, I have the inside scoop on their upcoming holiday deals. Keep reading to check out my Rebel Pine Coffee Review.
Before I became a mom, the term “active wear” sounded like the kind of clothing I would wear to work out. Now that I have a toddler, I would say that we are active all day everyday – playing, cooking, putting all of the pots back in the cabinet, cleaning, running errands, even watching TV now requires chasing after a rambunctious little one. Anything that I wear needs to be comfortable to move around in. At the same time, I don’t want to be sitting around it baggy sweats all the time. I was super excited to be able to team up with Moms Meet to try out prAna’s versatile line of activewear. Check out this prAna review to see what I loved about my pieces and why they are great activewear for active moms. Also, get my exclusive prAna promo code.
Being a mom is a full time job! Add an actual full time job, blogging, and a side business on top of that, and you can probably understand the importance of organization in my life. I use a combination of digital and paper note taking to keep my life straight, but there is just something so satisfying about filling out a nice planner. I was really excited to team up with Kathy over at This Cherished Life to check out her Inspired Year Planner. Keep reading to see my thoughts on the planner and enter to win your own.
This weekend we celebrated Peanut’s first birthday! It is crazy to think about the past year and all that we have gone through as a family. We celebrated with a great weekend full of family, love, and of course cake. 🙂 There were lots of laughs, and plenty of gifts. As parents, it can be hard to decide what to get your kids as gifts. You want something they will enjoy now and something that they will want to keep forever. For Peanut’s very first birthday present, I teamed up with the folks over at Wonderbly (formerly Lost My Name) to create the perfect first birthday gift keepsake that we will enjoy as a family for years to come! Check out this post to read my review of the book and enter to win your own copy.
As a working mom, it can be hard to find time to take care of myself. Just going to the bathroom alone is a challenge, so I don’t really make it out to shop the beauty store often. I am definitely jumping on the bandwagon of loving monthly delivery services – I already get my household staples from Amazon and my wine delivery each month. I decided to give Glossybox a try to see if getting little gifts for myself was just as much fun. Keep reading for my Glossybox review!
When you have a sick or fussy little one, nothing feels longer than the time that it takes for a thermometer to check his or her temperature. Getting your child to even sit still for that long can be agonizing for you both. Forehead thermometers got a bad rap at first for being inaccurate, but recently it seems that studies are finding them reliable enough for home use. They are definitely the most convenient, and this Clinical Ear and Forehead Thermometer by Generation Guard offers the convenience of a forehead thermometer and ear thermometer in one device.
I recently had the pleasure of teaming up with Lost My Name to review their book “The Little Boy Who Lost His Name.” This book is charming, great quality, and completely personalized. Keep reading to hear my thoughts on this fun book and company. Plus you can enter to win your own copy of “The Little Boy/Girl Who Lost His/Her Name!”
As you saw in the post about my favorite money saving apps and website, Daily Goodie Box is a great site if you are looking to score some freebies and try out new products! When I created my baby registry, I did a TON of research. I read every blog and pin that I could find, I looked through pregnancy magazines, I looked at registry examples, and I asked other parents for advice. Overall, I feel like I had a pretty good handle on what I wanted and needed for baby. Now that I have had 6 months to see all of these items in action, here is my two cents.
I created a “New Baby Checklist” to make sure that our home was baby ready. Feel free to edit this spreadsheet to meet your personal needs.
