One of the most exciting tasks when you are pregnant is creating your baby registry! It can also be one of the most daunting and overwhelming depending on your personality. I’ve put together a new baby checklist to help you keep track of what you want and need to buy for baby here. Before you even begin to get things together, you need to decide where you want to create your baby registry. There are many options out there, which can make your decision a little harder initially. Every registry has its perks, so I asked real moms what their favorite baby registries. This post will tell you the best baby registries and why moms loved them.
Registering for baby items can be entirely overwhelming! There are way too many items that you can buy for baby, and everyone has a different opinion on what is a want versus what is a need. I suggest customizing your own new baby checklist to keep track of the items that you plan to buy or borrow before baby arrives. As far as knowing what is worth splurging on and what items you can skip, that one will depend on your lifestyle. There are, however, some must-haves that all mamas tend to agree on. Here 40 moms share their favorite items from their baby registry.

I read every blog and pin that I could find, I looked through pregnancy magazines, I looked at registry examples, and I asked other parents for advice. Overall, I feel like I had a pretty good handle on what I wanted and needed for baby. Now that I have had 6 months to see all of these items in action, here is my two cents.
I created a “New Baby Checklist” to make sure that our home was baby ready. Feel free to edit this spreadsheet to meet your personal needs.
