Foamnasium Blocksy Kids Couch, $ 229.00

The Blocksy is the closest existing alternative that I know of to the Nugget in look, function, and price range. They also have the added bonus of a vinyl surface that makes them easier to keep clean than the Nugget. Unfortunately, the last I checked, the Blocksy isn’t available on Amazon or the Foamnasium website. You can sign up for alerts for their next restock.

Children’s Factory Climb & Play 6 Piece Set, $167.20

If you are looking for the climbing and building function of a Nugget, but don’t care about it being a couch, there are lots of fun block sets on Amazon. Here is a great option from Children’s Factory. This one has 6 pieces, but you can pick the right set for you based on your space and budget. I also put a smaller option down farther in this list.

This set might be a little less fun than some of the other Nugget alternatives on the list, but it has a great dual functionality! It’s a nice sturdy couch that reminds me of movie theater seats. Here’s a good one piece option! LUCID’s play mat would be great for a great substitute for a Nugget if you are looking for something more mobile. It folds up into a block with convenient handles.
